The Power of Awe
In your book you talk about the difference in force versus presence and it kind of reminds me of what I was talking about with transcendental meditation. What we have learned from our research studies is that for people that are learning to practice the awe method that by cultivating a sense of presence that the awe experiences then come naturally. This isn't something that requires force. In fact, if you try to make yourself have an awe experience like you're sort of faking it to you make it, which is a, you know faking it as an example of force. When you're making something happen that really isn't naturally arising, then you're going to find yourself failing at trying to cultivate awe
