The Confirmation Bias Problem

People are so bad at deciding to be skeptical on their own. They're so casual in their relationship to truth when it's against the grain of their cognitive biases. So we're now asking those people to apply some other piece of technology to scrupulously scrub their timeline of lies. And I'm not sure anyone would do it. It really has to be kind of a top-down system-wide fix.
