The impact of bodine's loss could still be because prosecutors won't be able to make these reforms in reality. The question will be, what message does the party take from the recal? And if that is one that says that progressive prosecutors and their policies can not be defended in this political environment, it would be a retreat from that commitment that the democratic party really made on these issues.
