Avicenna's Influence on Aristotle
Avicenna was educated in the Aristotelian tradition. His origin goes back to Andronicus' edition of Aristotle's works as it was developed later in late antiquity. He found that there were no other philosophers who would play any claim either to his allegiance or even to his credence because he did not find anybody else and specifically about Plato. The Danium started from that which he developed tremendously.
