How to Be a Proactive Enabler
In your role as an enabler, you have to be proactive in almost the same way that the sales team is. So I'm a big proponent of building very, like detailed competency maps. And it's surprising how few enablement teams can tell somebody what they are enabling their sales reps to do. They'll give you general answers and stuff like that but if your job is to enable them to do something, you got to get specific and detailed.
