The Rise and Fall of Hitler
Hitler and his followers were marching through Munich when the police opened fire on them. Hitler escaped with a dislocated shoulder but Hermann Goering was shot in the groin. The whole thing basically generates into what one observer called a Latin American fast. It started with these big ideas of taking over Berlin and it collapses into a pretty tautry exchange of fire on a Munich street. In the aftermath of the pooch, it seems remarkable that Nazis ever thought it could come off.
