In 1915, Armenians in Istanbul see an impending deliverance from Ottoman rule. The Ottomans are aware that there is growing interaction between the Russians and Armenians to the east. And a group of well-intended, notable Zetun alert the Ottomans that young hotheads have been plotting something with the Russians. This leads to an uprising as the partisans take to the hills and try and stir villages of Armenians to revolt against the Ottomos.
