Burning all 495 million barrels of oil would result in carbon emissions that are equivalent to the annual emissions of the world's 28 lowest income countries. We don't need to transfer wealth from the UK public to a very wealthy Norwegian state. The environmental consequences of Rosebank are, of course, also immense.
