The Third Risk for Group Think
Time pressures pose a similar risk for group think. The idea of having to get something, absolutely anything, done before congress can enact their theragenda seems to define modern political rhetoric. Both parties often frame their agendate in opposition to an enemy and often the opposite party. And so it's a matter of defeating rather than making a good decision.
