How Do We Teach Empathy?

i think we should teach the realities of life, including death, in school as part of our fundamental education. I can't imagine one would be too soon to start. Once you start tuning in, it's not this thing at all. It is absolutely wrapped up in daily life one way and another. And all you have to do is turn a little attention to it.
