CHAPTER

Are the People of Carfi Self Isolating?

Plague is seen as something coming from the gods or some kind of, you know, punishment. I'm really interested in where we see plague in ancient sources and even mythological sources,. Can we relate it back to something in history? Hopefully, potentially. Who knows? So let's break this all down. The theory is that because of climate change and global movement, a lot of people were moving into new areas. This meant that large urban centers, palaces, and such were now being exposed to new people who might be carrying new diseases like bubonic plague. And this theory makes so much sense. We also know thieves had plagues. Could this be an answer for this?
