Philip Johnson: I'm not aware of any other conflict in which the language of law has been introduced so early and so extensively. The ability to watch these drones, or the execution of individuals, almost as its happening is obviously very disturbing,. But it does provide a wealth of material, of course, open to interpretation and analysis. We live in a world in which the law doesn't operate and function in a vacuum. There is thi thing called politics, which always cuts in. And i fear that what we well end up with in five years time is the culmination of a series of high ranking police officers who become 'starry eyed' about international law. It's an early game
