"I didn't know what to expect. What is a child, a healthy child, who goes into a cave and has no food for nine days? I mean, i didn't really have any experience of what that duration im fasting or some light or and all the i didn'treally have her feel for what thay would do to a child between the ages of 11 and 16," he says. "They'realready skinny kids. And, you know, they did look very, very thin to me... But on the other hand, they were all standing. Most of em were smiling."
