Elon Musk has been in charge of Twitter since last month. He quickly sacked half the staff and made a number of big changes to the company. The biggest policy change was a change on Twitter's verification system. This saw people paying $8 to get this check mark and then impersonating all kinds of famous people or companies because they weren't being verified at all.
