Free speech and debate are considered to be the cornerstones of the American way of life, and working against it is something no savvy political operator would ever consider. Perhaps this is why the Democratic Party seems so lost. Many people who supported the party in the recent past have since come out with stories that reveal a palpable intolerance amongst both Democrat voters and the establishment for simply asking questions.
