The Four Stages of Creating

The idea is invest in the play stage. Spend time here. Explore. We're not concerned with outcomes at this point. That's stage two. The third stage is called fuel. This is where you are seeking outwards to models to help inform what you're doing. It can be that if that's, you know, useful way for you to work. So that's stage three. The fourth stage is generate. Again, without a concern for the end result. And so it's knowing when to seek that fuel and when it's going to be useful to you.
