What Are the Most Important Strategic Points in the World?
The suez canal, the bosphorus straits and even things like the south china sea are strategic naval points in the world to day. The western ones are more important because they're closer to western europe, and that usually has a greater economy. And once you go into the mediteerranean, there's four or five stepping stones that control a north south traffic. They are sardinia, malta, sicily, crete and cyprus.
