Using a Randomization Method to Find a Perfect Match

Before two thousand three, sex work was illegal in the U.S., but now it's legal around the world. The study used a method called "synthetic control" to find states that looked just like rhode island over a 20-year period of time. It found a weighted average of other states that look just like it and then tracks them over tom and then tracts rhode Island over tom. And the difference is meant to measure the causal effect.
