I've run into a couple of issues where PMPM complains that it's been updated. And even though the code is exactly the same, it makes me patch it again. So many ways you could do this is you can literally reach into the prototype of a package and overwrite some values there. But ideally, I think that you have to do what Scott was saying is actually modify the node modules.
