What Is the Value of Preregistration?
Eregistration doesn't force you to do anything at all. It just makes it so that it's transparent what it is you did. I plan a number of studies, i pre register them in our lab, and then a couple of them go sidewaysht even just implementing the study. The value of pre registration is in those are those other ones also available. They're also accessible for you as a reader, or anybody in the community to say, well, i want to consider that evidence too.
