Introduction
The historic nature of to day's five to four decision by the courts conservatives cannot be emphasized enough, in part because you do not see the court turn precedents of this magnitude. More than a quarter of states have so called trigger laws that band abortion. Many democrats are expressing concern that the decision could provide legal justification to overturn other rights secured by supreme courtpre including those covering contraception and same sex marriage.
