How to Antidote Negative Interactions

In relationships, negative interactions tend to have much more impact than positive ones. Research shows that long lasting happy couples need at least a five to one relationship of positive to negative interactions. When I'm in the midst of worry or fear, it's hard for me to recall something good. We waste opportunities to have positive experiences and then in particular, we waste opportunities to turn them into something of lasting value.
