What Is Reincarnation?
The pashad contain teachings reference to what became later the doctrine, or the idea of reincarnation. There are various different ways of describing the reincarnation process in the panisads. It is not entirely clear where this idea came from. Some say that the idea came from outside the vedic tradition, from am, it is said, from further east, or frome different cultures. But its,. i would say, impossible to tell. In any case, thereare some very beautifully described metaphors and descriptions which have occurred previously in vadic literature.
