The events of the 6th century BC matched the three western powers against each other, as they all sought to gain the upper hand in the trading circuit of the central Mediterranean. The Greeks appeared to have been bloodied up a bit following Alalia, as they lost their foothold on Sardinia and Corsica, but they would come roaring back. This time though, it wasn't the Massoleans that led the charge, but the Sicilian and Italian Greeks, as a coalition of Magna grichians teamed up and sent out two punches.
