The Development of Wisdom in the Prophets

The word of God is now not just informing our wisdom, but arousing our emotions and desires for the things of God. It's also something that we've taken in and we embody. And so we could tell the story of scripture as a sort of developing, taking up the word of God into the embodiment of his people. In their head, we see it most fully Christ himself. There are many other ways that we can tell the story, but that's part of the point.
