A lot of the indian community who came to live in england decided they made a conscious decision to start speaking english at home. These kind of cosmopolitan people can be quite nomadic though as they like moving changing learning to adapt in different countries that becomes the norm. i suppose this is like the third direction that you can go in you can become a cosmopolitan master which is where you learn to adapt and to be flexible moving between cultures creating a unique blend of the best of both worlds.
