Nick bagley: I think the courts got this one right, which i think is an unpopular view in liberal circles. The case was about whether renters should be able to be evicted during the pandemic. That's kind of a corps question of state law, not a question of federal law, at least usually. And with the lapsing of the eviction oratorium, i think, again, because i think it was so porous and so poorly enforced, we didn't actually see an immediate surge in evictions...i think that was never especially likely.
