The Banshee's of Inisharran
I find it both telling and strange that the Banshee's of Inisharran is basically kind of the only film from like Britain or Ireland that really won big on the night. There was just a lot of British and Irish films apart from Banshee's that didn't get recognised whatsoever, which again is a completely different conversation to Oscar So White and representation. But I just find it really weird because it's been such an amazing year for British and Irish film. Like, we've made some great films. Well, not weird. It is very weird.
