Chandra Brown's Story About Borders, Boundaries, and a Fighting for Survival

Chandra Brown has worked her entire career as a professional river guide, writer, and educator. In October of 2021, Chandra was coming to the end of her guiding season. She had just wrapped up a 16-day trip down the Grand Canyon; she only had one river trip left before heading home. The stretch of the Rio Grande the group would be canoeing down is situated on the southern border of Big Bend National Park.
