Editing a Movie
I feel lucky as an editor that I've gotten to work on movies that are different genres, working on musicals, Western space movie, Bond, but also different styles. Working on a movie like Whiplash and then working on La La Land and First Man, just to name a few... Those movies could not be more different. But every once in a while, you get lucky if you get a director, a filmmaker, who wants to really tell the story through the editing, through a style. It's also difficult, isn't it, that it is so invisible?
