Anda: I was very intrigued with dug talmy's work on the non native, native species as hosts for lepidoptera. Lepidoptra or caterpillars are very adapted to their hosts. But even a tighter, more intimate co evolution would be that between a gall and a plant. So i thought it woud be kind of interesting to test talamy's paper with galls. And certainly we showed the exact same pattern. A native species ar exceed non natives as gall hosts, and woody far exceeds im non woody. That kind of had me in the gall world interestd hold me in ye.
