Is God Predicting?
Prophecy is neither god's predictions nor the prophet's predictions, ok. If you can cause it to happen, then prediction is not even a word. Deuteronomy somewhere that speaks of the false prophet as the one whose whose word about the future does not come to pass. It's basically that prediction isn't the right word to use.
