Should We Devote Our Lives to Becoming Moral Saints?
Susan Wolf is a big shot philosopher and early on in her career, she wrote a breakout article called Moral Saints. She defines a moral saint as a person whose life is dominated by being as morally good as possible. If you're devoting every hour to raising money for Oxfam, that doesn't leave much room left for anything else in your life. But none of these things are forbidden by morality. You're allowed.
