Amron - What's the Difference Between License and Unlicensed?

You do not need a license for the FRS, you know, family radio service. You don't needs a license for MERS, that's the multi-use radio service or CB, citizens band. Each of those perform differently and generally you'll find that you can program MERS and FRS frequencies into a Balfang. But it won't give you the performance that you're looking for unless you get the proper antenna to operate on them.
