The Fungus on the International Space Station
On the surface of mars there's a lot of radiation, because doesn't have a magnetic field to protect the surface from the sun. There are species that have evolved to be able to live in places where it would be very difficult to live if you didn't have some kind of protection from radiation. An experiment on the international space station is looking at different moulds that can do well in areas with lots of radiation.
