The Importance of Privacy Rights in a Border State
The Arizona border is very different. It's it's got a lot of fence and a lot of wall. There are crosses everywhere for migrants who died crossing the desert. But then you also see the security surveillance, all sorts of just punitive watchful eye things being turned on citizens. You have many fewer privacy rights and your civil liberties are definitely more constrained if you live near the border.
