Are We in a Tough Spot?
I think we're in a tough spot. People want to be represented because their representation is normally pretty negative. I see this a lot with my parents. Like they hated slumdog millionaire. Because it's like, why only show on the bad parts of India? They're not trying to make a documentary to your point. But because there's so many negative depictions of India, we're starving for something that shows the good stuff. So that they see this and like another one, another f***ing not good.
