The Importance of Jumping Between Worlds
I started drawing when I was two years old. My mom tells me and I basically haven't stopped. So that's what American-born Chinese is. And in the end, I realized that jumping between storylines, jumping between genres, that's kind of how it feels to be maybe an Asian American in particular or an immigrant's kid in general. Most of us live in between worlds, right? We have one world at home and another world at school. It does feel like we're moving in between worlds as well.
