The Different Types of OT Networks

In most organizations, where they are or where they want to be, is that their OT network is separate from their IT network. The protocols that are running on these networks are probably different than the top 20, 30% of protocols that arerunning on your IT networks. How this equipment is managed is often different. Topologies and the protocols to support the topologies are different. And there's a couple of reasons why security is high on the list that we're talking about here.
