Is Jesus Paying Taxes?
In the ancient world, kings and all of the royal family did not have to pay tax because tax was seen as tribute. Peter promised Jesus that whatever he binds on earth will be bound in heaven. The church is part of the Basileo-Tuthayu, the kingdom of God; so it shouldn't need to pay taxes.
