People who have the highest affective polarization tend to be people who are actually on social media less. Older people boomer generation and above in the united states are among the most affectively polarized and the least on social media. There's some endogeneity and circularity in there that is also very hard to untangle one thing that we have been able to see is that regardless of where you're getting the information whether it's tv or social media. i think those two people kind of weave in and out as far as what they're consuming these days because tv ends up on social media and social media ends up on tv so it's almost less of an important division these days it's all
