The Impact of the Urban Redevelopment Project on the Hill
The Hill was a massive important area for immigrants in New Orleans. The civic redevelopment project removed 80 city blocks, 100 acres. And so, you know, the vibrancy gets lost in that. What's worrisome is that it's not clear unless there's a really deep structural change in the urban landscape whether you can get that back.
