Is a Deck Building Game More Accessible Than a Card Game?

Cards took some of the load off of having to explain, like, why are your abilities only sometimes available to you? But when they're cards, it's like, oat, i just didn't draw that. I think one of the things that's incredibly powerful about cards is they tell you where the levers are in the game as a player. And because it focuses so strongly on the cards, and those systems all reduced down into the cards, i think it gives people something to like, look at and sort of understand very easily.
