The Problem With Pacifism
The term pacifism has all sorts of political connotations that have nothing to do with Jesus teaching. Pacifism is an a lack of interest or non-involvement but the hard work of seeking peace. Not one of these four examples are passive. They all call for the apprentice of Jesus to do something creative, surprising, wise, intelligent, bold, risky on behalf of others.
