Supergladic Airway in Laparoscopic Surgery - A Review

The first study I'll get into was published recently in ANA in 2020 by White et al. And it was titled, The Comparison of Supergladic Airway Devices with endotracheal Indubation in Low Risk Patients for Caesarean Delivery,. This article included 14 different studies for a total of 2,236 patients. An important takeaway is that for all the studies that investigated aspiration, bronchospasm, hypoxia, the incidence for each of these outcomes was zero for both the SGA and intubation groups.
