The Importance of Sleep
Your subjective sense of how well you're doing when you're not getting sufficient sleep is a miserable predictor. Anything below seven, you can measure the impairment. But for example, if I were to put an individual on seven hours of sleep for three weeks, at that stage they would be as impaired in terms of their driving performance as they would be after one night of total sleep deprivation After going without sleep for 36 hours was like compounding interest on a loan.
