Jeffrey Sachs: Modern monetary theory is just unleashing central banks and governments from like previously existing, you know, limits on that power to create money. He says there's this almost fairy land belief that you can print money forever and it has no consequence based on having a reserve currency. Sachs: Technology is deflationary. We use technology to remove jobs. There is nothing governments can do in the end to stop that force. And so we're actually ironically speeding the demise of the system.
