De Growth and the Clima Crisis
The de growth movement has been a big part of the conversationround the economics of the clima crisis. I think i come to degrowth from a different place than many people do, although there's also many people who come to it from my place. The idea of a steady state economy has always is much more characteristic of how humans have lived on the planet for tens of thousands of years. And that there's other forms of human satisfaction besides just producing and consuming more. That doesn't require constant growth and improvement. It a gets satisfaction out of he dailiness.
