The Story of Spring Hill Jack

In the 1870s, reports of a mysterious man known as Spring Hill Jack appeared in London and Surrey County. A retired soldier claimed to have been attacked by an unknown assailant while standing guard at a munitions depot. The story became so popular that several penny dreadfuls were written about his exploits. But after more than 100 sightings, he disappeared into thin air.
