The Risk of a COVID-Distorted Economy
Francis Donald: I'm more concerned about that very slow, but persisting weakness than I am about a garden variety recession. We're seeing desynchronized elements where we're seeing a consumer that hung on much longer than they would have in other cycles. Housing is already starting to re-accelerate. Even if we cut in half our concern about downsides in growth, we're still looking at a very difficult economic environment.
